In Get Real! Science, we honor the exceptional expertise of teachers that merges deep understandings of learning, equity, science, youth, culture and context. This Teachers’ Corner will spotlight that expertise in hopes of connecting and supporting the larger community teachers through the narratives and resources of lived experience.

Meaningful science learning happens on the ground, with particular students, in lived local culture with historical foundations. Learning from teachers as they navigate these interactions offers us footholds for justice-centered ambitious science teaching that can help us collectively and expansively realize science education that is engaging and authentic.
